It was here, in Castellina in Chianti, the heart of the chianti hills, that in 1960 Aleandro opened his first shop.

Friendly service, hospitality and expertise have been the main features of the wine shop, located in an historic building in the center of Castellina. In 1993 the store was renovated to create an elegant and refined space, but still maintaining the simple and rustic characteristics of the original construction.

Today, Aleandro is joined by his daughter Roberta in the running of the family activity. Together they are happy to offer you a sampling of the local wines, and during the week, by appointment only, guided wine tasting (with translator, if required).

Upon request, we offer guided tours to the most important vineyards in the Chianti area.
